THE NUMBERS DO NOT LIE!

I have been crunching the numbers of our situation. And i have come up with this. The last time we were in this situation was during the Jimmy Carter days. What a nightmare that was.

But here is the numbers, 1980 U.S. popultion was 227,000,000. Today the estimate is 350,000,000. And that is a conservative estimate. My belief is that it is more close to 400,000,000 with all the illegals. So our population is 1/3 more now than back in 1980. In 1980 unemployment was 10.2%. Now 10.2%, but we have 1/3 more people. which truly makes the unemployment rate 13.6% compared to population per capita counts. But here is the kicker the true unemployment rate is 18% because of people taking lower paying jobs and people who stopped looking for jobs. And when you factor in population growth per capita numbers we truly have a 24% unemployment rate. What was the unemployment rate during the great depression? 25% but here is the kicker, the population of the U.S.in 1940 132,000,000 roughly 2/3 less. Add that to our original 18% unemployment rate. Per Capita accounting for population growth, inflation, tax revenue generation for government, and monies business has been generating etc. etc. we are at 54%. Now you say how can you say that? That is crazy!

Well this is why I started cruching the numbers. I have many friends who work at thier jobs, including myself. And everyone of them say that thier companies have cut back by 50% roughly. Well I thought the company I work for has done the same thing laid off or let go 50% of our work force and have only been doing about 50% of what we did in the past. So I started asking myself the numbers are not matching up.

My case in point, with a decline of 50% in everything in our country. Including people's 401K's and other investments, jobs, production. And the number of people cutting back thier spending by the same amount(50%). Why does the Government not do the same? Plus they are the one's that created this mess, forcing bank's to do things they normally would not do. I think it is time that everyone in Government become conservative, looks like to me they do not have a choice. If we want to survive as a country.
