FREEDOM!

When I look back at great presidents, no one and I mean no one beats Ronald Reagan. When we think of leadership, what do we as American's think of? When we think of a role model in our life who do we think of? Many of our children today look towards sports figures as role models. Or even music industry individuals. And unless you have your head in the sand you have to know these people are not the best people to look up to as role models.

Myself as a middle aged man now I look back at who was my role models. Roger Staubach, Danny White, well pretty much the Dallas Cowboys. LOL But now I look back and say to myself  " Why didn't my teachers teach me the constitution the way it needed to be taught?" And now I look at our kids now and I ask the same question. Do they know what freedom truly is? As our teachers today I believe they have failed miserablly in teaching our kids this concept of true freedom. And why is this? Well when we look at it closly, we know these facts. 1. They are part of a huge union that no matter what they get paid is what they get paid no matter how good a teacher they are or how bad they are. They have no incentive to be all they can be. 2. They are government employees and most of them believe BIG Giant Government is good. It is a fact that 90% are liberal and believe this is ok.

My son has been reading a book on Ronald Reagan, and he comes to me all the time now and ask's me why they don't teach them these concept's in school. President Reagan was all about freedom.
